Princediner
The number of participants of the Rondje Noordereiland Swim doubles each year. In 2010 we organised the Princediner for the first time outside at the Prinsenhoofd. The Prinsenhoofd owns its name to the Royal visit Wilhelm III in 1874 and it's probably one of the most beautifull place of Rotterdam. From the Prinsenhoofd you have a view at the Erasmusbrug (start and finish), Rotterdam Center, the Neue Meuse, Kingsharbor, etc.

Once a year we turn the Prinsenhoofd into an Italiaans Restaurant where all participants (Princes) and their partners, our sponsors, volunteers and VIPs can enjoy a delicious powerfull pasta diner. People living at the Noordereiland and clients of the Voedselbank (please apply) have access to the Prinsendiner too. Furthermore, Aquarius will donate each year 921 kg foods to the Voedselbank (Foodbank). De pasta maaltijd zal dit jaar overigens door de Tafel van Zeven worden gemaakt |

Binnen de Tafel van Zeven vertellen vrouwen uit alle windstreken met hun gerechten-van-hun-moeders de verhalen over hun geboortegrond, hun steden en dorpen, hun familie, hun levens. In het aanreiken van een bord met eten is er ook een ontmoeting met een cultuur. Zij helpt bruggen te bouwen tussen verschillende bevolkingsgroepen, enthousiasmeert buurtbewoners om verhalen te vertellen en naar elkaars verhalen te luisteren en organiseert rondom deze activiteiten themabijeenkomsten, doorspekt met de bijzondere verhalen en exotische gerechten.
